Ocean Appoints New Marketing Director

Ocean Bathroom Products the bathroom and kitchen taps, accessories and spares distributor has appointed Joseph Tirelli as Director of Marketing. This new role signifies Ocean’s commitment to provide further support for the company’s independent retailer customers.

Tirelli’s first priority is to build on the strength of Ocean’s brand for quality and excellent customer service. With 25 years senior sales and marketing experience in B2B, B2C and international markets, Joseph Tirelli has directed sales and marketing strategy for blue-chip companies and large and small privately owned organisations.

‘I am excited at joining Ocean to help direct the company’s next stage of development’ Tirelli says. ‘From initial feedback received from customers it appears that existing independent retailers, kitchen and bathroom studios express a very positive reaction to Ocean. Our products and our people are highly rated’, Tirelli adds.

‘Like many of our customers Ocean has worked hard to retain its market position over the past difficult trading period. I am helping the owners to complete a review and plan for expansion. We will soon be announcing new initiatives and reveal our exciting marketing plans to our customers’.

The company believes that its policy of its preferred distribution to the independent specialist retailer does not dilute the Ocean brand, thereby retaining greater referral value for the retailer.
